Wildflower Hike

Join DLLT Stewardship and Outreach Manager Colin Brown for a special hike in the community forest, focused on wildflowers.  “Spring ephemerals,” as their name suggests, are fast and fleeting flowers in early spring that bloom before the forest canopy grows in.  Wabassus Mountain has numerous species of spring ephemerals, and we will learn all about them along our way to the top.  Interested hikers should meet at the Wabassus Mountain trailhead on Wabassus Mountain Road at 1 pm, and wear sturdy shoes.  RESCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, MAY 21, due to thunderstorms!!
