Kids Spring Fishing Hike

Get the kids out of the house during April break – On Tuesday, April 17th, join DLLT Education and Outreach Manager Colin Brown for a “Fishing Hike” along the Pocumcus Lake Trail in the Downeast Lakes Community Forest.  We will meet at 10 am at the Grand Lake Stream School Building, and carpool out to the trailhead.  The trail winds along the lake shore, offering several places to cast a line.  Kids should come properly dressed for the weather, and bring a fishing pole, water, and a lunch. DLLT will provide bait, lures, and extra fishing gear.  The hike will be over 3 miles, so sturdy footwear is a must.  For more information, please contact DLLT at (207) 796 – 2100, or email cbrown@downeastlakes.org.
