Informational Meetings: Milfoil in Big Lake

When

07/15/2021
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Where

Princeton Rod and Gun Club
Greenland Point Road, Princeton, ME, 04668

In late 2019, variable-leaf water-milfoil was found in Big Lake – the first such infestation of this aquatic invasive in Maine, east of the Kennebec River.  Big Lake needs your help, and that’s why DLLT is spearheading the Big Lake Milfoil Coalition – a working group comprised of area businesses and organizations to help fight this infestation and protect the lakes that you love.

Want to know how you can help out?  Attend the following informational meeting, led by Coalition member Lake Stewards of Maine to learn how to help protect the lakes and stay on the lookout for this invasive plant.  The meeting is open to all, and shoreland owners and recreationists are encouraged to attend.

  • Thursday, July 15, at 7 pm at the Princeton Rod & Gun Club (Greenland Point Rd, Princeton, ME 04668)
