Have you ever wondered what wildlife species are living in your woods, or how to improve the wildlife habitat on your woodlot? Come join us for a discussion of wildlife biology in eastern Maine, and a moving tour of the habitat management techniques used at Downeast Lakes Land Trust.

Learn about managing forests for a variety of species from deer to songbirds, as well as general habitat management principles that can be applied on any woodlot. We will be joined by biologists from the University of Maine and Project SHARE, regional foresters, and staff members from the Downeast Lakes Land Trust.

Following the event we invite you to bring a lunch (or buy one at The Pine Tree Store), and stay for a Q&A session and continued discussion.  For more information please contact DLLT at (207) 796 – 2100, or email info@downeastlakes.org.
