Join Jeanne Christie, a Certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs as well as a Registered Maine Guide, for a morning of Forest Bathing, a forest therapy guided walk. Forest bathing is an opportunity to relax, re-energize and explore a deepened relationship with the natural world. The walk occurs through a series of simple invitations to walk, wander independently or simply sit interspersed with opportunities to come back together to share. A forest therapy guided walk provides the opportunity for each participant to have their own unique experience. There will be a tea ceremony at the end with snacks. Participants are encouraged to bring a stool or mat to sit on. Meet at the West Grand Lake Dam parking lot at 9:00 a.m. on August 8th.
