Educational Webinar Series - "Nature Phenology"

When

03/15/2021
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Downeast Lakes Land Trust and Downeast Coastal Conservancy are coming together to host a Virtual Webinar Series featuring local naturalists and professionals. Join us Monday evenings biweekly from 4:30pm-5:30pm!

First up in the series – Phenology is the study of seasonal changes in nature. Without even realizing it, we all observe phenology events that occur around us: animal migrations, flowering plants, the arrival of snow, and more. During this presentation, Hazel Stark, Maine Outdoor School Co-Founder, Naturalist Educator, and Registered Maine Guide, will introduce what phenology is, why tracking phenology observations is important, and what you should be on the lookout for this spring!
