Forests and Lakes – For People – Forever ®

DLLT’s New Community Headquarters

Downeast Lakes Land Trust seeks to create a flourishing local economy based on recreation, craftsmanship, artisanship, and entrepreneurship. Since 2001, we have pursued this vision through conservation and exemplary management of the region’s forests and waters. Throughout this time, we have recognized that connecting people and communities to the resources we have conserved is essential for the continuation of the traditional lifestyles and livelihoods of the Downeast Lakes region.

DLLT’s newest campaign is to bring the community of Grand Lake Stream and the greater Downeast Lakes region together by providing resources to grow. These resources include flexible workspace, high-speed public Wi-Fi, space to host corporate events in partnership with local lodges, student learning spaces, a picnic area with parking and restrooms, and much, much more. These engaging resources will bring new opportunities to the people and businesses that keep the Downeast Lakes region a vibrant and encouraging place to live, play, and stay.

This project will not be possible without the help of donors, corporate partners, and volunteers. Join DLLT in uplifting our community by creating a place to gather, share, and learn.
