Deputy Director Leaves DLLT

June 27, 2019

The Downeast Lakes Land Trust (DLLT) is announcing the departure of Deputy Director Colin Brown.  Since joining DLLT in 2015 as the Education and Outreach Manager, Colin has spearheaded DLLT’s education program while strengthening partnerships and community outreach in the Downeast Lakes region.  Colin’s commitment to connecting children and adults with the natural and cultural heritage of the Downeast Lakes will be missed at DLLT, but he will continue to work toward the well-being of the region as the new Natural Resources Program Manager at the Sunrise County Economic Council in Machias.

“In his time at DLLT, Colin has inspired hundreds of residents and visitors to feel a greater appreciation for the Downeast Lakes, and that legacy will be felt for many years to come,” said DLLT President and CEO David Montague.

All planned events and programs will proceed as scheduled during this time of transition.  All of us at DLLT are grateful for Colin’s hard work and his many contributions to the community.  We wish him the very best in his new endeavor!
