Departure of Education and Communications Manager

February 2, 2015

PES-5-2014-1The Downeast Lakes Land Trust (DLLT) is announcing the departure of our Education and Communications Manager, Tanya Rucosky.  Since joining DLLT in April 2013, Tanya has been instrumental in expanding our educational programming by organizing programs for children and adults.  These programs include our Book, Lecture, History and Heritage, Explorations and Adventures, and Serious Skills Series, as well as DLLT programs in local K-12 schools.

In addition, Tanya has coordinated our Landings and Traditions newsletters and handled the website, Facebook, and Twitter communications, keeping all the friends of DLLT informed about the exciting events and happenings at the Trust.  Tanya’s enthusiasm and commitment to outdoor education and the natural and cultural heritage of the Downeast Lakes Region will be missed, as she pursues exciting new opportunities in Downeast Maine.

Our planned events and programs will proceed as scheduled during this time of transition.  We are grateful for Tanya’s hard work and contributions to the Trust and the community, and we wish her the very best in her new endeavor!
